The danger posed by Compromised Christians
"And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled..." (Heb 12:13-15)
After discussing the most prominent false movements of our day in this blog , I am finally left to discuss the biggest false movement of them all, number wise: the deceived multitude. Of all the false movements, the multtude of Christians, though God loves them, are our greatest danger as the remnant. While our hearts bleed for them, we must also remember the role they play and that they are by no means seen as innocent victims by God.
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? (Jer 5:30-31)
I put together a clip from a channel that is no longer on Youtube called Channel Psalm 89. In this video the sister brings up an important elephant in the room.
In exposing evil we examine the extermities of the elephant, the dangerous and sharp tusks, the absurd little tail, the big flappy ears and the heavy dangerous strong legs that trample the grass. But we must not forget the great big old BODY of the elephant! We tend to overlook the body of the beast, focussing on it's parts. But it's greater part is the mass of it's body.
I think this video does at great job in expounding on the danger the masses of deceived Christians hold. They are not only deceived but also deceivers, and that is something to never forget.
We may have great empathy for God's children in these systems and call them out but we ought to rememeber "they are not all Israel who are of Israel" and many say "Lord, Lord" but Christ does not know them.
This video was stored on a backup channel on Vimeo 8 years ago, and so it is quite old. But she saw what was coming so clearly. Today and especially after the events of 2020 we come to see the truth of these things much clearer.
This video below confirms the clear vision this sister displayed and the keen insight of the Holy Spiri in her:
We warn and try be good watchmen, expounding on all the false teachings, but we often witness what Ezekiel did, namely that we speak to a people who will not listen. They hear without hearing, they see without seeing. Yet we warn despite knowing this, for Christ within His elect by His Spirit always warns mankind, even though He knows they will not listen. But Christ is seeking his lost sheep, the one out of the 100 that He will find through the ministry of those who care for the lost lambs and sheep. The one who can and will hear The Good Shepherd's Voice and will not follow strangers.
In doing so we love all men, though we are certainly not loved or appreciated for it by the multitude:
And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. (Eze 2:7)
Finally, from another video on the Backup Channel of Channel Psalm 89 I made another clip of an important factor to take into account when also seeing the role the multitude play in the strong delusion, and that is the factor of man following men instead of God. In this video there is great advice for those newly come out of deception, namely that in order to follow Christ we must overcome our proclivity to follow men. I can testify to walking the same path of learning to lean on Christ alone. I have walked with and learnt from many wonderful brethern but I can testify to the importance and truth of what this sister is saying namely that we must learn to stop following and relying upon men. There is also a great difference between walking with someone for a season and following after a man or a ministry.
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
(Jer 17:5-8)
The multitude go astray through their own lusts, their love of this world, their lack of knowledge, their ease and lack of discipline and disdain for proper discipleship and lastly also through mankind's deadly way of following after men. Besides the fact that the compromised Christians become deceivers and persecutors themselves, it is, after all is said and done, also this same multitude who empower these false teachers with their massive followings who lead them to their destruction.
Thou shalt not FOLLOW A MULTITUDE TO DO EVIL; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: (Exo 23:2)
